Spotlight NFT Community: ON1 Force - The Resurgence
WHAT
ON1 Force is an NFT collection of 7,777 '0N1' citizens that were minted in August 2021. This collection was one of the more popular NFT collections in 2021, with an average peak price of 6.48 eth per NFT shortly after minting. However, since then, the collection has seen a decline in both price and community engagement due to the leadership’s mishandling of funds and the community.
This month ON1 Force has seen a resurgence of interest when the project announced it would be acquired by new owners Old Fashion Research (OFR), a blockchain investment firm founded by ex-Binance executives.
With this buyout, the team aims to invest significant resources into expanding the 0N1 Force franchise, with the goal of establishing it as a top metaverse-native intellectual property. The project's roadmap for 2023 includes a 50 ETH Artist Fund to support community talent, a graphic novel series generated and managed by community contributors, and the formation of 0N1 Conclave, a council of distinguished Web3 and Web2 members committed to advancing the brand.
LORE
The lore behind ON1 Force is rich and in-depth. There is an extensive amount of lore available for people to read on their website and reflects the project commitment to storytelling. A summary of the narrative is as follows:
7,777 citizens once lived for eternity in the Ethereal Enclave. However, everything changed when the Emperor died, and chaos ensued in the Enclave. The citizens of ON1 Force are the survivors of this chaos, and they are now known as the ON1 Force, representing a powerful and united community.
MEMBERSHIP - ON1 NFT prices spike
NFT prices for ON1 have 3x in 2 months and are probably due a correction soon. Long term, however, there’s a lot of room for growth now that the project has a fresh set of board members and a much-needed liquidity injection.
COMMUNITY
ON1 Force is a community that is on a mission to merge narrative and gaming using the latest web3 technology. The focus is on creating the 0N1VERSE by building community strength through elevating style and encouraging imagination. Members of the community have the freedom to build their own character storylines, contributing to the co-creation of the 0N1VERSE. The project has even attracted mutual partnerships with big names like Steve Aoki and Coinbase.
ON1 Force is also working on a digital comic in partnership with Josh Blaylock. This is a result of the success they received when they invited contributions for their comics, which reached over 40,000 submissions in the early stages of their development. The digital comic will help bring the 0N1VERSE to life and further cement the community's commitment to merging narrative and gaming.
